First Blog Post!
Hello everyone! I am more than excited to be able to share this blog with all of you! So thanks for stopping by! My name is Amanda Cheney, but up here at school in Gainesville, I go by "Cheney." I am currently studying Telecommunications at the University of Florida (yes, Go Gators!) and I am also on the gymnastics team here as well. I grew up in Orlando, my favorite color is teal, I love to watch sports, I have to have coffee every morning and if you've ever met me, you'd know I'm a talker. So for that very reason, I am starting this blog to talk about what really goes on in the life of student athletes - from workouts, games, competitions, classes and everything else in between. I hope to let you in on the somewhat unknown world of an NCAA athlete. Hopefully you can stick it (gymnastics reference) out with me as I find my way in this blog world!
